Dissertation: Research study examining the relationships between shame and guilt and specific symptom clusters among a clinical outpatient population.
I work with adolescents and adults to help them address a variety of issues, from anxiety and depression, to relationship problems, to life transitions such as starting college, resuming or changing careers, dealing with divorce, and coping with grief.
I am trained in a range of treatment modalities: from psychodynamic interventions that address underlying conflicts, to cognitive/behavioral approaches that help clients reframe negative thoughts and change maladaptive behaviors.
I have particular expertise in working with young adults, having been a Staff Psychologist at both Yale University and Fairfield University.
